National Gallery of Armenia
The gallery was founded in 1921 and is part of the museum complex located on Republic Square. The National Gallery occupies the upper floors of the complex, from the third to the eighth. It houses the largest collection of Armenian fine art in the world. The museum features more than 62 paintings by Ivan Aivazovsky, as well as works by classical Armenian artists of the 19th and early 20th centuries — including V. Sureniants, S. Aghajanian, Y. Tadevosyan, P. Terlemezian, G. Bashinjaghian, M. Saryan, H. Kojoyan, A. Fetvadjian, and others.
