Arzni Travel - Blog - Treatment and Rest - Inhalation and Oxygen Cocktail

Inhalation and Oxygen Cocktail

Also used are inhalation procedures, which help your body absorb clean, oxygen-rich air without respiratory issues. Below you can learn more about these procedures, what they consist of, and how they can benefit you.

Inhalation (from Latin inhalo — “I breathe in”) is a method of administering medications based on inhaling gas, vapor, or smoke. Inhalation can be natural (at seaside resorts, in forests) or artificial, using special spraying devices - inhalers.

This method delivers gaseous and volatile substances, liquid aerosols, and powders with specific particle sizes into the body. Inhalation administration reduces absorption time, ensures a targeted effect of the substance on the respiratory system (bronchitis, tracheitis, bronchial asthma), and allows for both local and resorptive effects - including a general effect on the entire body (inhalation anesthesia).

At the "Arzni" resort, steam inhalations using mineral water as well as medicinal oils are practiced, with sessions lasting 6–12 minutes.

Indications:

• Chronic rhinitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, tonsillitis, bronchial asthma.

Contraindications:

• Acute stages of the above-mentioned diseases, oncological conditions, pulmonary hemorrhage, heart failure, arrhythmia, emphysema, etc.

Oxygen therapy is one of the methods used for both therapeutic and preventive purposes. It activates cellular metabolism, eliminates hypoxia and chronic fatigue syndrome.

Hypoxia causes changes in the respiratory, cardiovascular, and other systems.

Oxygen therapy helps regulate immune system functions, cellular metabolism, and fatigue. Gastric tissues utilize oxygen more efficiently because parenteral oxygen intake (through the mouth) is more effective.

An oxygen cocktail consists of a liquid flavor base (juice, syrup, or milk) and oxygen.

Foaming agents may include herbal and plant-based infusions, such as rosehip.

Indications:

• Cardiovascular diseases

• Respiratory system disorders

• Nervous system disorders

• Internal organ diseases

Contraindications:

  • Acute stages of the above-mentioned diseases and oncological conditions.
